Get URL Pro is a BBEdit extension which allows the user to find a URL (file or site) from within a BBEdit file. When told to “get” a URL the computer will task out a program to open the URL site or file. This could be especially useful for HTML editing with BBEdit.

This Adobe Acrobat Exchange 2.0. plug-in allows you to embed URLs for Gopher, ftp, and HTTP, and Netnews items inside PDF documents. Clicking on such a link calls a helper application (Turbo Gopher for Gopher URLs, Anarchie for FTP URLs, News Watcher for Netnews URLs, and MacWeb for http/html) to get the item specified by the URL. A PDF viewer is available for all platforms, and PDF is now a bas gopher (type 'P'), meaning all “savvy” gopher clients will recognize documents of that format.
